Donations and giving

We are entirely self-supporting and rely on donations to resource the life and work of this church and so, thank you so much for your financial support. We could not fulfil our God-given vision without your generous offering of your time, talents and finance. We encourage regular members of the church to contribute to the vision of the church and the activities associated with it.

The Parish Giving Scheme

You can make donations using the Parish Giving Scheme (a new window will open when you click on this link so you can fill in your donation details). As a registered charity, if you make a donation, we will also be able to claim gift aid which all goes towards the costs of our mission and running of our church.

Regular or one-off donations can be made and we are very grateful for anything you can give.

Easy Fundraising

You can also make donations through Easy Fundraising. easyfundraising partners with over 8,000 retailers who will donate part of what you spend to a cause of your choice. It won't cost you any extra. The cost is covered by the retailer. So if you are making regular purchases online, you can help the church receive additional funding. If you join us for any of our services in person, you can also make cash donations when the offering trays are passed around.

Planning your Visit

Service times at
St Mary's, Dover

We extend a very warm welcome to you to come and join us for one of our services.

If you like (or want to discover more about) traditional Anglican music and worship, then St Mary's is the place for you. In the first chapter of the gospel of John, the apostle Philip says to Nathaniel, "Come and See", and that is the simple invitation we offer to you today.

Sunday worship:

On the first, third, fourth and fifth Sundays of every month, we have a sung Eucharist service, led by our Clergy and robed choir. This service starts at 10.45am and lasts about an hour.
On the second Sunday of every month, we have a Sung Matins service, led by our Clergy and robed choir. This also starts at 10:45am.
At the same time as our main service, we also have Children's Church (from 10:45am) in the church.
All our Sunday services are followed by coffee either in the Parish Centre or at the back of the church.

Choral evensong:

On the fourth Sunday of the month, we have a traditional choral evensong service (except for August and December). This service starts at 6:00pm and lasts about an hour. We also host an evensong and supper on a quarterly basis and everyone is invited to join us for supper after the service (donations towards the supper are gratefully received).

Wednesday worship:

Every Wednesday, we have a short Holy Communion service at 10am lasting for 30 minutes. This is followed by coffee either in the Parish Centre or at the back of the church.
